Chris Dishman, Founder & Managing Director

Chris is a serial entrepreneur who founded Denali Financial Consulting in January 2008 after 25 years of serving the Seattle tech community as a Big-4 auditor (PwC, E&Y), a CFO of a venture capital firm, a co-founder of a SOX consulting firm, and a financial executive for numerous venture capital-backed technology companies. Chris has enjoyed leadership roles in local organizations such as the MIT Enterprise Forum, WTIA , Junior Achievement, Rite of Passage Journeys, and is currently on the Board of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network (NWEN) and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Chris is a CPA (license inactive), and has a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Washington. Chris is married to Jaennae Dinius, who happens to be his Denali business partner.

Personal Interests: Chris enjoys golf, photography, wine, fly fishing, skiing, guitar and bass, and traveling.

Jaennae' Dinius, VP of Operations

Jaennae' joins us with over 22 years of combined sales and business operations experience. Her previous positions include co-founder and VP of Operations for a rapidly growing mortgage company, where she managed the day-to day operations with over 80 employees operating in 27 states. She demonstrates strong interpersonal skills as well as a strong sales and operational background. Jaennae' is an active member of the Seattle Art Museum Supporters (SAMS) Executive team.

Personal Interests: Jaennae' is working towards her black belt in Kempo (Kenpo Karate), and is writing her first novel. She has competed in three half marathons and enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, writing, music, wine and food. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog "Moby" and 4 kids — ages 17 -25.

Peter Sullivan, CFO Team

Peter has over 25 years of diversified executive experience including financial management, strategic planning, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, SEC reporting, Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Modeling and Management Information Systems. Peter has worked as an industry consultant including serving as CFO for two private companies, part-time CFO for a publicly-traded company, and served 6 years in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche as Audit Manager. Peter is a CPA, and also has an MBA from the University of Arizona Graduate School of Business, and earned his BA in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Washington.

Personal Interests: Peter is an avid golfer and runner. He is married with three children and lives in Sammamish.

Greg Danielson, CFO Team

Greg is the founder of Lakebay Technologies, a consulting firm that provides strategic planning, finance and accounting, and operating guidance to growing companies. Greg has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry in a variety of executive roles including Founder, President, COO, and CFO, in addition to 5 years with Price Waterhouse. Greg's background also includes leadership and volunteer roles with youth soccer, Boy Scouts of America, and a variety of other Board of Director and Advisory Board roles. Greg is a CPA, and has an MBA from the University of California, and BA in Economics from the University of Washington.

Personal interests: Greg is an active cyclist, hiker and outdoorsman and likes an occasional game of golf.

John Edwards , CFO Team

John has over 20 years of financial management, business operations and information systems experience. John's experience includes public accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), budgeting and cost management, treasury management, financial analysis, systems and technology utilization, process design and productivity improvement, and mergers and acquisitions. John earned an MBA in Finance, and a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from Seattle University.

Personal Interests: John is an outdoor enthusiast and can be found skiing on the slopes or in the backcountry, hiking, cycling or fishing with a little golf thrown in between. If not playing outdoors, John is traveling the western US on his Harley.

Peggy Lauerman, Accounting Team, Controller

Peggy has over 26 years of experience providing financial services to technology companies, including 5 years in public accounting. She is the founder of P. Lauerman Consulting, Inc., a consulting firm that provides Controller and project management services to technology companies. Her experience includes development of international accounting operations, manufacturing cost accounting systems, accounting system implementations, audit preparation, Federal and international tax issues, transfer pricing and leadership roles in HR and IT. Peggy is a CPA (license inactive), and has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Alaska.

Personal interests: Peggy enjoys hiking and spending time with her family. She has two sons 14 and 16.

Kristine Nguyen, Accounting Team

Kristine has over 6 years of providing accounting services to small businesses and venture-backed technology companies. As the founder of Pretty Books, she has operated her own accounting consulting service for over 4 years. Her experience includes QuickBooks implementations, state and local taxes, audit-ready accounting, revenue recognition analysis, benefits administration, payroll and 401K administration. She is also a database specialist and has designed a variety of reporting tools used for tracking revenue related expenses.

Personal interests: Kristine enjoys being an early adopter of new technology, reading, cooking and spending time with friends.

Carl Uhlman, Accounting Team

Carl has over 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing and internal control design including 8 years with Valve Corporation which was growing rapidly during his tenure. Other experience includes accounting positions with MSNBC Interactive, Trammell Crow Company, and GFS/Northstar (now Pinnacle). Carl started his career doing auditing and tax consulting with Ernest Jonson & Company, A CPA firm in Seattle. Carl graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Business Administration and minor in English.

Personal Interests: Carl plays tournament croquet, keeps a honeybee hive in his backyard, and can often be found sailing on his 27 foot Catalina.

Julie Chan, Accounting Team

Julie has over 8 years of providing accounting support to small businesses and non-profit organizations. She moved to Seattle from the San Francisco Bay area where she gained 15 years of experience working in commercial property management including, acquisitions and day-to day operations. Her broad range of experience includes working with real estate investors, and early stage technology companies. Julie has a BA in International Studies from Macalester College, and is currently pursuing her MBA.

Personal Interests: When not serving her clients or studying, Julie is cheering her son on at soccer games.
